Can I use the Monheim-Ticket as an area season ticket (Zeitkarte)? Is my area season ticket obsolete?
Can I activate the Monheim-Ticket in the Monheim-Pass Card and deactivate all other services?
No, this is not possible. Following the activation of the Monheim-Pass, all Services are always available to you. Of course you can choose not to use the services which are not of interest to you.
Can I buy a complementary ticket for the Monheim-Ticket, e.g. to Cologne or Dusseldorf and if so, where and how?
If you only occasionally use the bus or the train outside of the city area, you can buy a complementary ticket (Zusatz-Ticket) for the VRR area (e.g. to Dusseldorf, Neuss, Wuppertal or Dortmund). The current price is €3.60 for a single ride or €13 for a 4-ride-ticket (4er-Zusatz-Ticket). For rides in the VRS area (e.g. to Leverkusen, Cologne or Bonn) you will need a VRS-Ticket. If you wish to take rides across the entire VRS area, you will need an Einfach-Weiter-Ticket, which is valid also for the Aachen transport association (AVV). When you buy your ticket, please remember also the return ride. If you regularly use public transportation beyond the city area, you can take advantage of the Monheim-Ticket-Pauschale. This is an offer of €40 discount for the various season tickets of Verkehrsverbünde Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) and Rhein-Sieg (VRS). For example, the Bären-Ticket for persons over 60, with which they can ride across the entire VRR area as much as they llike, would cost €51.35 instead of €91.35 a month. Can I transfer my other active subscriptions (season tickets) to the Monheim-Pass Card?
Yes, you can do that at the Monheim-Ticket Service Point of the Bahnen der Stadt Monheim in the Rathaus shopping centre. The staff there can transfer your active season tickets such as Ticket 1000, Bären-Ticket or Schoko-Ticket to your Monheim-Pass Card.

Where can I have my subscriptions transferred to my Monheim-Pass Card?
You can have your subscriptions transferred to your Monheim-Pass Card at the Service Point of the Bahnen der Stadt Monheim in the Rathauscenter. To this end, you will need to bring your Monheim-Pass Card, a valid photo ID, for instance your passport, and your previous ticket.
